Does anyone feed their dogs on Years dog food?
I have been on it since the end of April, but Mummum has been made aware of a potential link between this food and ‘rapid onset Keratoconjuntivitis Sicca’, which is not responding to the usual treatments️It’s a severe form of Dry Eye - a condition which I already had, actually. But there are reports of complete tear duct destruction, eye ulceration, dogs needing eyes removed and even one poor dog had to be pts.
Vets are seeing an unusual correlation between cases of KCS and Years dog food. Now, as we all know, correlation is not causation, but it is being investigated by the FSA and vets are advising these owners to STOP USING YEARS. So if you, or anyone you know is using this stuff (which is definitely not cheap, by the way) please do some research on social media and decide whether you want to take the risk. Qualcuno nutre i propri cani con il cibo per cani Years?
Lo prendo da fine aprile, ma Mummum è stata informata di un possibile legame tra questo alimento e la 'cheratoconjuntivite secca' a insorgenza rapida, che non risponde ai trattamenti abituali! !️È una forma grave di secchezza oculare - una condizione che in realtà avevo già. Ma ci sono segnalazioni di distruzione completa dei dotti lacrimali, ulcerazioni oculari, cani a cui hanno rimosso gli occhi e persino un povero cane ha dovuto essere paziente.
I veterinari stanno osservando una correlazione insolita tra i casi di KCS e il cibo per cani Years. Ora, come tutti sappiamo, la correlazione non è causalità, ma è oggetto di indagini dalla FSA e i veterinari consigliano a questi proprietari di SMETTERE DI USARE ANNI. Quindi, se tu, o qualcuno che conosci, usa queste cose (che tra l'altro non sono affatto economiche), per favore fai qualche ricerca sui social media e decidi se vuoi correre il rischio. Mummum ci ha tolti subito.
