Just like Snoopy I get inspiration when sitting on my kennel… I was surfing the internet and saw this famous Beagle Snoopy sitting on his kennel and knew immediately that I had to get dad to get me one.
After weeks and weeks of begging (you know Beagles are pretty good at that), Dad finally relented and spoke with the team at Quarters of Sussex.
They are a great family run business that do bespoke deluxe kennels for our furry friends.
They have a whole range of different styles and I really liked the look of their Hamptons range but I needed a flat roof.
Dad had a few discussions with the team and we finally had a plan to do a modern twist on a cedar clad kennel with a roof terrace. Just like Snoopy’s, but mine has a flat roof so I can lay down properly.
We had a few design limitations that needed figuring out and Gavin from Quarters of Sussex was very accommodating of my needs.
I love sitting up high and looking out over things (I might be part cat, no impossible), so we needed a staircase that was easily accessible and still looked cool. Personally I love it.
I even like the inside much to the surprise of my dad. He thought I would onlysun bake on the top but when it gets too hot up there, I go downstairs to my cool insulated puppy pad and chill out.
This summer is going to be a blast with Chill Tracks playing, fresh water handy and my post modern bespoke two storey kennel from Quarters of Sussex, I am set.
